The name of this paper is Promoting Gender Equality in the Classroom because it understands that there are differences among sexes and sexualities and society generally privileges manhood and heterosexuality over women and members of the LGBT+ community. Thus, the first part of this research works on the meaning of “gender,” “equality” and “gender equality.” Apart from that, it explains what chauvinism and feminism are, one as the producer of inequalities and the other as the ideology that helps people find injustices as well as claiming and fighting for their rights.
This blog contains the papers written by students of the English Teachers Training Program at Joaquín V. González Training College, Rafaela (Santa Fe, ARGENTINA) We hope this material will be useful for any teacher or student around the world who believes that education is the tool to make a better world.

CLIL CONTENT AND LANGUAGE INTEGRATED LEARNING (GUERRERO)
Though teachers and institutions are free to choose multiple ways of imparting
knowledge, this work focuses on the importance and the long-term benefits of putting
CLIL into practice. In other words, this paper is aimed at demonstrating that different
subjects should not be fragmentized but integrated and, at the same time, language can
be the key to enrich students’ vision of the world, practising topics and enhancing their
abilities as English speakers
MOVIES AS A MOTIVATING RESOURCE FOR TEACHING ENGLISH (CARIGNANO)
In which different ways can movies be used to motivate and benefit Foreign
Language students? As it is known, the cinema is a pedagogical tool that helps
English Language Learners not only to improve skills such as listening and
speaking, but also to enhance pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. As movies
also offer a wide variety of activities, adolescents’ emotions and feelings can be
triggered while learning. Moreover, movies allow people to start thinking in terms
of film and visual literacy. However, the most important point is that thanks to this
resource, students can make learning enjoyable, entertaining and fun.
